1) Boot Excel 2000
2) Under file menu, do 'Save as Web Page'
3) Say 'Publish Sheet' and 'Add Interactivity'
4) Save to some htm page on your drive.
5) Load the htm page with IE. You should have Excel in the middle of the page.
6) Scroll to row 2000, column WC. Select row 2000, and tab so that WC is the active column.
7) Hold down Shift+Crtl+Alt and click the Office logo in the upper-left.
8) If you have DirectX, you will be playing what looks like spy hunter. Use the
arrow keys to drive, space to fire, O to drop oil slicks, and when it gets
dark, use H for your headlights.
Troubleshooting a formula
You can display your formulas in all cells by pressing [Ctrl]~.
If you want to view the dependent cells for a particular cell, select the cell first before you press [Ctrl]~.
Flight Simmulator in Excel 97
1. On a blank worksheet press F5.
2. In the "Go To" windows enter "r97c12:r97c24"
3. Press enter.
4. Press the TAB key.
5. Hold down Control + Shift.
6. Click the chart wizard tool-bar icon.
7. Have fun and enjoy.
Fill doen/right Short cut
The Fill handle provides a handy way to duplicate
values and formulas in adjacent cells, there are special shortcut
keys you can use.
- Select the cell you want to duplicate, plus the adjacent cells which
you'd like to insert the duplicated data.
- Next, press [Ctrl]D to fill the data down the selected
portion of the column, or press [Ctrl]R to fill the data to the
right, across the selected portion of the row.
